01/02/10-MEWE FINISH DOCUMENTARY!
In early 2009 MeWe were asked to make a documentary about the history of African dance and it's influence on contemporary dance and performing arts in general in the UK.
On Wednesday 25th November MeWe had its launch event for the APO documentary, Rumba From The Jungle. The launch featured footage of the upcoming film. Speeches from the funders and fantasic performances from MeWe's dancers. Singled out for special praise were MeWe members Manish and Isobel who out of the group were the only individuals who were not dancers by trade.
The APO film is due out in February 2010 from all educational outlets. Look out for more information on this soon.
20/01/10-NEW ROLE!!!!!!!
Hi All, after a successful audition I have now taken the role of 'Young Boy' in the Magpie Blue Productions adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's 'The Old Man & The Sea'. The show will start in Brighton in May before moving to London. More info soon.
