Vernon Kizza Nxumalo
MeWe Youth Theatre
Vernon is a 22 year old writer and actor from London. He has been a member of MeWe Youth Theatre for a year. Ever since he performed in his first primary school play as "Oliver", Vernon has always loved the stage and performing arts. Between his secondary school studies he performed in "Beauty and The Beast", "The Wizard of Oz" and "Bugsy Malone".
After his first formal audition with MeWe, Vernon was accepted into the theatre company at the age of 21 and decided he wanted a career in the industry. Besides acting and taking drama workshops with children, Vernon is a press officer and is responsible for helping coordinate MeWe projects. When he is not acting, Vernon is freelance writer and enjoys penning scripts and poetry. One day he would like to run a theatre.
Vernon hopes to bring lots of energy, fresh ideas and a new perspective to NAYT. As well as learn more about youth theatre, working with young people and growing as creative person in the business.
